Life has thrown some curve balls at me this year resulting in a total lack of riding. I needed some serious inspiration to get my blood flowing and my Honda 450's carbs atomizing. It seems that the way to a man's carbs is through his suspension. Today's ride started with a visit to Rob Kozler's MotoLab headquarters in Glendale, AZ, last Monday. Rob was gracious enough to allow me to stay and observe the master at work. Rob is methodical, breaking down each component, ordering it's disassembly, inspecting and measuring for wear, and planning the reassembly to suit my particular riding style and needs (like my big tank and big belly). Forks coming apart. I wonder what we'll find in there. I remember when forks had a screw at the bottom to drain the oil and a valve at the top to pump in some air. Crazy complex inner workings going on in there now.
