A little meandering through Mayer and Breezy Pines found Rattlecan waiting for us at 5 Points.

And, without much ado, we hit the trail.

We picked up Dustin on his 300 2 smokers up at 5 Points. He saw us riding by and chased us down.

Rattlecan pinned under his KTM. I made him beg before I helped him out.

We stopped by this giant oak in the middle of an endless pasture. My camera started fogging up from getting wet...created some interesting effects.

We stopped and chatted with these ATV riders. At least they had helmets to go with their PBRs.

Oldtimertc and I took a little side trip to check out if trail 213 is rideable... Technically, it's doable! But, not today.

I actually made it to this rock on my 950.

DirtyDog thought this would be a big bike friendly trail. From the 2008 Blessed Hell Ride.

A quick splash of gas and we're off.

Nothing but dust and traffic back to the trucks. Oldtimertc found that he lost an engine plug.

    106 miles total today.

Thanks for the ride guys. It was a good day filled with great people. I did not take but a few pictures.

    Great spot for a break

I went the long way back after lunch, down Senator Highway to Pine Flats through Mayer and back to the truck. About a mile from the truck on Bloody Basin Road I came across this little guy.:eek1

I say little but, he was a good 4+ feet long. I guess this is proof that it is warming up!

So who is up for CK the back way? :evil

Yesterdays ride was a blast and a great ride to get my feet wet on the 690. I will be looking forward to more of them. I took a few photos but I can't get them off of the card. I will keep working on it........time to pick up a new memory card.

BTW, I am "IN" for back side to CK and beyond next week.
