While on a dual sport ride last weekend, we stopped in Middletown (ca) to top off. Three sport bikes pulled in and we saw this license plate attached to her jacket. I thought it'd make a good advrider photo.
I asked if photo would be ok and she said "Sure." I then showed her the shot and she asked me if I knew what her plate said. I have know idea, she then proceeds to say it means F*** You in chinese. BTW she was asian and very cute. Then when I got back and uploaded the photo and rearranged the letters...DIU LAY to Id lay u ....could it be just a coincidence?

    Uhoh, found another one..... :lol3

In Baja - near Rosarita, if I recall correctly. It'd been raining, and it was cold and wet. We'd camped the night before at Punta San Andre's - a surfer hangout.

Coffee was good there.....hit the spot.

This is where Jonz' 640 with the self retracting sidestand hurled the bike to the ground. Tight after his sleeping bag caught fire from his exhaust. Note the fuel spill. That white thing that holds oil bottles was also hurled to the ground during the event, and about half the guy's socket set went into the sewer....

    Oops. Sorry. :shog

Just north of Jade City on the Cassiar Highway on the way to the Yukon. Guard Horse must have thought that the GS was a small pony that it could befriend. Had to physically push Guard Horse away before I could leave.

This used to be Joe's Conoco in Costilla, NM. I used to buy chainsaw gas here every morning in the early 80's. Now Joe's daughter(s)? are running the place, and it's a Shamrock.

Their gas supply is hit and miss as you can see by the covers on the pumps. Unfortunatly the V-Rod couldn't make it to the next station.

My first day-trip. My buddy was on a DR.

Where were we about 90 miles later?

    :snicker:

My KLR had about 150 miles left before I started getting concerned.
