Take a look at the pump:
Why oh why oh why??????
Memorable night. After 2-1/2 years from my initial rebuild of Maggie she has been ridden by me for just over 10,000 miles. WX was in the mid-70's-a nice warm day. Gas station is about a mile from my childhood home, where I visited my mother earlier in the evening. It's also located on the historic Route 66 by-pass that goes through St. Louis. Cheapest price I have paid for gas in a long time! ($3.39/G; 87 Octane)
Always enjoyed these old shots by Marion Post Wolcott. Louisiana, 1940.
Lemon Cove, CA
I have bike envy.....gorgeous!
Gustavus, AK. Something like, 12 miles of pavement in this cut-off town. Pumps were closed since it was the 4th of July but they still do work.
Great pic with the contrast of colors!
Ballarat near Death Valley. Used to be a gas station and general store. A scene from the movie Obselidia was filmed here and "Potlicker" the dog (arrow) had a walk-through in the scene.
