Sometimes I have wondered what sort of knuckle head numb skull would fill up their petrol powered vehicle with diesel. Now I know, it's someone like me. My only defence is that in Australia, the petrol bowser is green and diesel is black. In USA, it is the other way round. D'oh!
The BP stations in the US have them labeled the British/Aussie way and it feels wrong grabbing the green handle. My brother-in-law actually put diesel in his car and found out how expensive that mistake was when they had to clean the injectors, etc. to get it running right again. :eek1
