Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 and GSX-R750
2nd perspective...I'm sure there's a bike down there somewhere...
That's a good looking aeroplane.
Cessna 180 isn't it.
According to the reg number it's a 172L Skyhawk.
Aircraft Rego Info.
Doesn't look anything like a 172 to me.
180's all appear to have square tails.
N1968C Cessna 170B
I was gonna say!!! Yeah, as far as I know, the 140 was a much smaller plane (2 place)... And the 180 is a square tail... Which means that's a 170
I've meant to sell me J-3 since I got the biplane...only a damn fool owns two 'toy' airplanes. Got the ST because my wife wouldn't ride my PC800 'cause it "looks like a dork's bike"...:huh
OTOH...she loves the Cub for sight seeing...and gets upset when I talk of selling... she don't much care for loops, rolls and what in the Great Lakes...
...and of course my granddaughter's bike and the cub.
She is my favorite copilot...
Already a 4th generation motorcyclist...she will be a 4th generation pilot.... "Pahpaw...riding motorcycles is fun...but flying's the best!"...
I think you might be Mike, the Helo pilot? Nice bike, and the plane ain't bad either. Say hello to Dean. Hope to get back that way soon, but riding the Mts. of Va tomorrow. I sure hope the weather warms up soon. Looking for 75 tomorrow, never made 50 today.
Hey Walt, we are getting ready to get trounced by weather here momentarily ourselves...but then it looks better for tomorrow. Are you doing the BRP perhaps?
We are headed to the Texas Hill country Monday for a 10-12 days ride 2-up. Planning to hit Big Bend while we are there. About 50-50 camping/hoteling.
I'll let Dean know you said "Hi". He has just about sorted out all the problems on the BK and she is flying sweet... Have a great ride!
There's a B-25 and a P-40 in town today for the Doolittle Raiders 69th Anniversary, so I rode out to take a look.
My motorcycle is down there in the neighborhood under the right wing.
Of the blue or the green bird?
Is this Pitts powered by M-14P engine?? :huh You must be crazy
This bobber was made from Piper Cub and was in exposition in Friedrichshafen, Germany two weeks ago
