I don't know if this has been posted since I don't want to go through the whole thread.
This was taken in late September during a 3000 km/3 day to Skagway. At White horse Airport. The DC-3 moves with the wind to indicate direction.

I've seen B17s flying here in the US, but I've never seen a Lancaster. That's awesome!
Wow, what are the odds of getting everything lined up at the right moment for a shot like that. A rare opportunity for sure. There are only two flying Lancasters in the world. Nice old Bonneville too.

I spent a good chunk of '98 and '99 at Aviano Air Base. Got sent over to support the war in Kosovo.
Italy is a beautiful country, I'd love to make it back some day as a tourist.
