This is going to be much of the Pine Barons 300 that was cancelled last month due to the fires. We are having a Dual Sport class where timekeeping will be optional. Feel free to show up and just ride the trails. Get ur scorecard marked and turn it in for prizes. Will be approximately 80 ground miles. cleck below for further details and flyer.

Leave from Hedger House located on route 563 in Chatsworht, NJ

I'm doing the dual sport class, because I can't be bothered with timekeeping. I just want to ride.

Never ran an enduro before, but this sounds like a great first event with the DS class. I have an AMA card, but no ECEA. I see on the flyer that ECEA testing is Sat 4-7pm. I cannot stay over Sat, but is it possible to take the ECEA test on Sunday if I get there early?

Is there a link to what is on the test?

    Thx in advance!

Hey Shawn, I'm only on my third enduro, but what I did for the first one is print out the test from the ECEA website, fill it out, then hand it in at signup. Hopefully that'll work for you. Maybe you can email someone from the club and see if that will be okay. Good luck!

In case you don't know, enduro clubs lie to get unsuspecting newbs on their shiney new dual sports to $ign up .......only to realize they have stepped through the gates of hell half way into the first section :eek1

Thats how I started out anyway :lol3

Yes, I'm fully aware. I think my favorite line from enduro club reps promoting their enduro "fresh cut single track with no whooped out trails." Only to find those new trails dump you directly into the most whooped out trails NJ has to offer. :lol3

Looking to ride the DS class. If I was to drive up on Sunday morning, what would be a good time to arrive for sign up, etc.? Thanks

Sign up is from 6-8am, with the first row leaving at 8:00 (keytime). So you'd probably want to get there no later than 7:00, to leave yourself time to sign up and get situated.

I got the most points... did I win? Haha, I was just glad I finished. That was a fun course- I really liked the way they made it easy at the end- that was a welcome surprise.

I agree, I was really thinking when I started the 4th loop that a little break would be nice since there was only a few miles left. PBER did an exceptional job with this years enduro. The mix of single track and the long back to back sections were awesome. I can't wait for next year already, well wait maybe after the soreness I am going to feel tomorrow wears off. :lol3

Begging your pardon, but I think that dubious honor goes to me! :-) I came in second to last overall (the last guy DNF'd), but through the quirks of enduro scoring, I took 2nd in my class! It was my third enduro, and the second one I finished, so I'm pretty psyched.

PBER did a great job, most of all considering the last minute hassles they went through. My hat is off to all the NJ clubs who work hard so we can all do this.
