    NOTE: we should be done by 1 p.m., so that everyone can get back to their families for the picnics. Might as well run around in the woods, since all the State Parks are closed! Thanks, Christie, for being an absentee governor!

    Will Michelin Anakee 3's handle the terrain? If so I'm down for Tuesday morning. Not much off road experience, but will try and keep up if you guys are willing to wait.
    Riding a super ten, so big and heavy, especially if it decides to take a nap.

    Sorry, but no. Those tires are street tires. They will turn into slicks on the mud, and will not have enough grip in the sand.

    At least, you should have a set of TKC's on that big bike of yours, if you want to do the Pine Barrens. There are plenty of dual sport tires now available for the big bikes. This isn't the place for a tire thread, however.

    Doc is leading but I'd guess at least 75% dirt roads and legal trail but no singletrack.

    OK, enough of this diversionary tactic stuff. Back to riding in the Pine Barrens.

    Nice group showed up at the Village Donut, and Sal, the owner, got up at 2 a.m. to make us all fresh stuff. Nice!

    The bikes (two DRZs, one TransAlp, an Africa Twin and an 1190 KTM):

    NJ-Bill, any chance you could change the title of this thread?

    How about Pine Barrens mid-week Hooky and Weekend rides- 2017

    I would add that we can also collapse the SOF rides into this thread;

    No hooky ride for me this week - cycling and sailing all week.
