I just saw this. Did you ride to the event? It was cold when I left the house in my truck at 7:30.

Yes, I got there around 8:45, registered and looked around for someone familiar (at least from all the pictures in this thread).
I guess you guys started early...
I teamed up with someone on a TTR225, but he disappeared in the middle of the first section.
After one of the singles with giant whoops which took any energy I had left, it turned into a wide sandy trail, I was speeding up and crashed in a deep sand section.
It was fast enough to knock the wind out of me and bruise my ribs...
I completed the first section (~70 miles, added a few miles by following a group that took the wrong turn..) and decided to head back home (30 miles) facing the wind.
It was a tough decision, but a good call to quit! I was exhausted, the weekend before I had to travel abroad and came back on Thursday, the long flights and jet lag didn't help.
Bottom line, it was great!, waiting for the next event.

Do you have a blue DRZ? We were at the light at the Walmart on Rt 70 just before 206 and I thought I saw you go by. Looked for you when we got there, but didn't see you, and my cousin and friend were eager to get started. We finished the whole thing, including the hero sections, and had a ball. Luckily, we trailered, so no wind and traffic to deal with going home. Stopped at a bar/grill opposite Nixon's for lunch and the Eagles game. Great day, can't wait to do it again. Wish those trails were open all the time.

Great pic and spot. Took this one last month at the PB500, at the corner you can see in the distance in front of your bike:
