Any YouTube links to the show?
I don’t think so. The episode aired a couple of days ago. It’s not even available on demand to watch again yet.
Did a little research on my Comcast demand. Found Season 5, Episode 5 (6?)
One day after a PBAC class, and we just had lunch at Lucilles, I got home and put on the TV, That Anthony Bourdain episode was on.
Big Coincidence! : )
ok so when PB be rideable again? friday the 12th is gonna be warm (and maybe a little drizzly).
think it will be somewhat rideable by then?
60% chance of rain Friday. I'll wait it out till the good weather comes back!!
Hey: IMHO after the forest thaws. mid March.
The roads and puddles are frozen, not worth riding, except with studs.
There will be a few riders out there, but not me. : )
Some years we rode all winter, not this one.
Heres a PB pic from a few years ago. It shows a typical PB road.
Well, until the ice and snow melts, there’s alway the Baja....
Bikes were nice as well. Desert-prepped Honda 450 enduros. Sweet machines!
I'm a little jealous.
Maybe more than a little.
Have fun Doc!
Thanks, Chris. Baja has been on my bucket list for many years, and the stars lined up right for this past week. You know how people will say "some day"? Well, at my age, I'm running out of "some day"s! And Chris Haynes does a spectacularly well organized adventure tour. Hotels, food, guides, bikes were amazing. We had a decent group of 7 from NJ. Only one minor bike drop (not mine) in the 400 plus miles of dirt roads, some of which were actually part of the Baja 1000, I believe. And everyone returned in one piece! Was priceless!
I bet Saturday will be rideable; probably not much dust.
I'm going to try and get out to Atsion sometime early Saturday morning, depending on the weather. I need to pick up a new batter for my DR first though since the current one left me stranded on Christmas eve.
looks like fun doc
If you check the forecast, it is going to be 55F at 5 am, then dropping to 35F at noon. That is strange for this time of year.
Very cool Doc! Hope to get down their myself.
Today's the day to ride. I've gotta work.
