Hey Doc, what are you planning for Sunday?
Myself and buddy are planning to head down to Atison and do some riding. Never been down there, so a good tour guide would be appreciated, or even some pointers as to where to go.
    I'm on a big S10 and he has a wr250r.

Two of us are planning on Sunday by Atsion on little bikes. NOT a Kinder & Gentler kind of ride, more like repentance :loco
We can spin through the ranger station around 9:30 to meet up.

Weather on Sunday looks like Sunny, but cold. Only 42 degrees by 11:00 a.m., then high of 45.
So, tentatively, I could give you a tour starting at 11:00 a.m. at Atsion. Should be tolerable by then. I'll trailer my little bike down there.
Kinder and Gentler ride for your S10.

Will post up Saturday night a final word after checking the weather.

Penn, does 11:00 a.m. work for you at Atsion? Riding over to Lucilles sounds like a good idea.

11 sounds great. I put on a new set of handlebars and bark busters to replace the stock bars I bent on our last ride, so I’m eager to test everything out.

PS: hoping to pick up the duck first.

Nice ride today with an exceptional group of 6. All legal, Gary. Al was joking. He does his single track in Hare Scrambles and Enduros. Didn't you see the smiley? By the way, were you a hall monitor in High School?

So, here's the group.... 2 Als, 1 Mike, 1 Mario, 1 Penn, and one old fart:

As a newbie who is still trying to learn the area, might I ask a possibly completely stupid question?

What is this map of which you speak an where might one obtain a copy?

Hey: No I haven't given up, but it wasn't a blatant picture or video. He just typed the "words", so he got a Mulligan! : )

I do get tired of being called a lot of nasty words, you should read some of the PM's I've gotten in the past, but I'm still fighting for our right to ride, and to help people from documenting their crimes. : )

    Thanks
    Jack

Hey: But thanks for looking out for all of us. I'm not sure if you guys know, but the Jeep Jamboree was shut down, in the middle of the event a week or so ago. I met with the State Forest Super yesterday, to understand what happened, so it doesn't happen to us. There's conflicting stories and I'm listening to both sides. We all have to teach responsible use of the forest to the newbies.

    Thanks Again
    Jack

I think a pm would suffice instead of making a whole page for "them" to copy. The poster is more involved in fighting the good fight than you might realize.

Ooohh, how big a thing was that?

I was coming up Carranza a week or so with my kids in a Jeep and passed about 10-15 Jeeps parked in a row on a trail near the memorial and a couple on the street, but surrounded by a couple of rangers and state police vehicles with police in the street.

    ?!?

Gents thanks for a fun ride today, and for waiting. I definitely need to downsize in order to keep up.
As far as being a madman, I've been told that before. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it gets me into serious trouble. Luckily today everything worked out in my favor
Can't wait to do it again, if I'm invited, of course.
Thats the only picture I have, I would have taken more but I was busy picking up the beast.

Gary, if you have been following my posts, you would know that I always emphasize that I do kinder and gentler rides, ALWAYS on legal terrain. Your sarcasm and personal attack mode is misplaced.
I am totally and completely on your side and Jacks, and want to be a good ambassador for the Enduro clubs. I repeatedly point out that those who wish to ride more challenging stuff in the Pine Barrens have multiple opportunities to do so in Hare Scrambles and permitted Enduros.
I enjoy showing newbies around the dirt highways and car roads in the Pine Barrens. I'm not the one who's running around where you shouldn't go. I leave that to the guys on the KTMs and Betas! :-)
p.s., you didn't answer my question..... were you a hall monitor in High School? :jack
