Hey all you KTM boys. I'm looking for some information on older KTM's with the WP43mm forks. I need a couple dimensions.

On which model? And I need the center to center of the tubes or tree's. I'm looking to see if I can use a KTM axle on my beemer after I put the WP forks on.

I had those forks on my 03 450 MXC. I don’t have dimensions. I’m sure you could get them on KTMTalk.com
I got a seal driver for them. I know mine ate the fork seals every couple months.

If you use the KTM wheel ,caliper, front brake master cylinder and rotor you would probly just have to make wheel spacers for alignment.

Not sure but I believe the 450 had 48mm on them. I got forks off a 2002 520EXC. Using a brake caliper bracket off a 690R so I use the 300mm rotor. The problem I'm confronted with is the left leg uses a axle that's 24mm and the beemer is 25. I could drill the leg but thought I'd try to see if a KTM axle might work. Either way I will need spacers made. That's not a big deal.

You’re correct. I just checked my seal driver. It’s 48. I’m not sure but KTM changed the axle diameter somewhere around those years. I don’t know what the two different sizes are but mite be an option.

Yeah I know they went from 24mm to 26mm at the clamping area. My concern is the length that's why I want the center to center.

After watching this I’m ready to put studs on the 690 and head back to Wisconsin

Icv was a good time. The 300 had so much power it couldn’t keep the air in the tire.

Nice hope to ride with you guys soon. I had to take a little break for deer season. I’ll be putting a 300 kit on the KLX so I might be down for a few weeks. Notice I have some orange too! 437DCD87-EE71-4621-AA0F-670D717B42E1.jpeg

I been sick as hell for a while. Got admitted yesterday for a case of Diverticulitis. I was all excited when they said I’d be on a liquid diet until they brought in this shit. 5BA15382-F623-4298-95CA-B686C4BC5878.jpeg

I had that a few years ago. Spent 24 hrs in the hospital. I was lucky that I went in when I did, any later they may have had to cut me open.

Beef broth is one of the better things I found for the liquid diet thing. Warm it a bit in the microwave.
