Ok folks. I just updated my Mapsource so that I can send up the .gpx files.

What I have here is just a start. I still have many file on several computers to sort out. This track starts in Placerville, CA and goes through Bodie State Park and ends up in Mammoth Lakes, CA.

there is just some dirt going into Bodie. It's actually the route that my wife took in her car. you can take a street bike down that route without any problems. Unless it's winter then you better have a snow mobile.

ps -I'm still looking for the dirt routes. Now that I know I can share them, I'm going to be better about saving them.

Is the track all there? The track goes east down a road about
6 miles north of Bodie, but never actually to Bodie.

brfinley your are right. Good catch. I goofed. The route east of Bridgeport is mostly dirt. I wouldn't do it on a street bike! I screwed up. If you follow that route south of Bodie Masonic, it will take you into Bodie.

This is a good GS road and not for a street bike!!

The route east of Aurora Canyon was an unsucessfull search for a mine. That is an even better GS road. The first section is heavily rutted and does require some skill.

THis track also goes around June lake and then Mammoth Lakes and then to the Owens River where the Raw-Hyde gig was.

ps -I'm going to spend more time with the routes. This could have been a big screw up for someone on an RT trying to make it up Aurora Canyon.
