My life's motto could be "If you're gonna eat shit, do it in 1080p" ;) So true to that I had the camera rolling when I went into full rodeo mode and ended up on my back on the side of the trail with really no warning at all.. but hey, at least it makes for interesting footage.

That's it for the the Hell Week 2017 series, I'll take a couple days of from editing and then I'll jump on the CO big bike trip video... I'm sure you can't wait ;)

I have a complicated relationship with Table Mesa, it was one of my first rides in AZ where I understood that my below average street riding skills will do me no good offroad.. and where I decided to stick with it. It can be a super easy ride and it can be a bitch, depending on the conditions. It was definitely on the rougher side today but apparently doing this kind of stupid sh@# on big bikes for a couple year actually does help ;)

I left my GoPro at home this time, so I just stitched something together from the phone clips we shot during the day

Day 1 of this year's big bike trip to CO.. We rode up to Silverton from Phx on Friday, we dodged thunderstorms most of the way and eventually got caught in one just before we made it into town. @Reidy008 and his crew left Phx a little later than we did and rolled into town when it was all dark and wet. We figured that if it rained on the way it definitely snowed up on the peaks so we were not exactly sure what we're getting into... it turned out to be one of the best days on big bike riding ever...

    Silverton all wet and cold..

Day 2 from Silverton to Telluride via Black Bear. I think I've already said a couple times that this was one of the things I always wanted to do but was equally hesitant doing.. I'm not good with heights.

Yeah! Let's do black bear on 600lb bikes with loaded saddle bags!

Lol. You'd think you would have learned by now to ignore Drew when he says that.

Great videos Plawa! Made me a bit homesick and wishing it were still summer (ummm warmer than 30F!) right now for another BB attempt. I'm still super new to bikes bigger than 25lbs but figured I'd make an attempt. My buddy and I headed up there and I was feeling pretty confident until ol' katoom ate my jacket and had to fiddle w/that for about 20mins. Mojo gone. Hopefully can learn to actually use the rear brake by next summer and give it another crack. Here's my rough draft....love/hate w/that route....and it'll make you guys feel like rockstars w/your big bikes. :)

Katy Perry, bold choice of music there ;)

You'll (better!) be glad to know that I have Ophir coming up next with some decent drone shots... if I get off my ass and get to editing..

Haha! Now I feel like I should post another, just for reputation sake. Most of them are Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, etc....somehow Katy Perry seemed appropriate there on BB. I am a girl after all, if that makes a difference.
    Looking forward to your Ophir.

Nah, they turned around right at that spot... not the first time we politely suggested somebody turned around, last time it was in the Mojave preserve heading into basically sand dunes with a Mazda 3 ;)

    Damn.

And double damn about the weather. When we were through there just a couple weeks prior it was absolutely perfect.

Wrapping up the Colorado trip we made a quick stop in Utah to gradually warm up again.. I've never gone through Valley of the Gods before so I had to take that off my list and since we were close, we went up Moki Dugway to Muley point... kinda drone heavy, but the scenery deserves it..

Haven't got around to watching them all, but Copper Canyon was interesting but it's not something l could do, but the one you did with your parents & the Vslic Pass was my kind of riding!!
Do your parents do Airbnb at their place & rent out bikes.................seriously!

It's at a day to get there from Prague, CZ (where they are.. and I'm from) so not the most convenient location for this trip.. but there are some amazing places in Europe, it just takes some time to get to them. Or I'm just spoiled by having a massive playground an hour in any direction from where I live..

It's been a while since we took GSs to any tougher trails and it has finally cooled off so we headed out on a "HTFU" ride last Sunday. I did not have much thread left on my TKC before this ride, it's definitely done now..

A 16 minute video but hopefully still watchable, I tried to break it up and include some of the banter and radio traffic since that's half of the fun on these rides, especially when things go south..
