I'm definitely not a speed guy but I like the slow, technical stuff... however the fact that I like to do it doesn't mean I'm any good at it ;)

But if nothing else I have persistence..

Bought a new GoPro.. so far I'm still looking for the best settings, I'm somewhat pissed off about the external mic situation (you need a bulky adapter...) but the image quality and stabilization are definitely an improvement... I have a couple videos to edit before I get to this one but it was once again eventful ;)

Is the camera the new one that does 360?

Nope, I got the Hero 6, the Fusion is the 360... I'll wait for review before I even consider it, my worry is mostly that gopro will try to lock you into their editing suite (which is very limited to say it politely). It's the same gripe I have with the GPS implementation on the 6, the GPS data is baked directly into the video file with no (known) way of extracting it into a GPX and then use it however you want, right now you can only overlay dials in Quik which is completely useless compared to Dashware (which gopro bought!) etc.. They are turning into Apple in the worst way possible.

You hit a sore spot.. But I looked into it, looks like there's some hope for the GPS data after all.. anyway, more videos coming up soon ;)

Gotta admit, I'm pretty excited about the stabilization on the Hero 6, I think it makes the videos a lot more watchable without to constant head wobble.. I couldn't find a decent dirt bike video when I was shopping for the camera so I made one just from the first two rides, I tried to pick the most bumpy sections to show the effect... the shot of @EZ300 at around 1:10 is a great example, super bumpy and the video just glides over it...

Ha, it's a creative choice :) The full video will include the part where you blasted by me at about 80mph in the riverbed leaving me literally in a cloud of dust...

I don't trust myself nearly enough to carry my gimbal on my chest on a dirt bike.. that would be fairly short-lived especially on Carbon ;)

I don't think you need a GoPro to roll down a hill but it helps to immortalize the struggle ;)
