Mine, sitting for 10 years, sprayed some WD40 in the cylinders, rotated engine, cranked with starter, put plugs back in, sprayed carb cleaner in and vroom!:clap

Here's a video I shot a couple years ago of a few friends of mine taking a '48 out for a spin.

This one was mine, all original '59. I drove it from SoCal to Prince Rupert BC after rebuilding the engine and brakes. I sold it when I needed money for college and had no where to store it :cry I lived for that old truck for a couple years. I'll have another one someday.

I won't argue with you on that one either. Just so ya know, when I got that jeep, almost 20 years ago, the paint was almost the same, and it had been swapped on to a 4wd Willys Wagon fram, with an OHC 6. I kept breaking stuff, and the OHC 6, refused to stop leaking oil. So, I swapped the frame for one from a '71 Wagoneer, with a 360. Things just kindof went from there. Have had lots of fun with it. Made friends, and even been in a few magazines. It's a great toy, but never was a good candidate for restoration (lots of poor sheetmetal work on the interior/firewall, floor etc before I got it).

Also, the drivers side has the logo, and 5 digit phone number from the dry cleaners that used to use it for deliveries!
