    You might want to post that in Old's Cool. Looks old but not like any BMW close to Airhead vintage.

    BMWs with exposed driveshafts didn't have swingarms, AFAIK.

    I was scouting around and saw that the Dnepr used an arrangement like this where the driveshaft passes through the swing arm. I wouldn't have thought there was enough room for articulation, but I guess there is.
