See how important maps are, even without a compass? You could even write your phone number on a piece of it and give it to a pretty girl or better yet, write her phone number on your map, and get her to circle her place on it.

If you have a large map you could write several cute girls phone numbers on the map or have several of the same map and that way you could mark each map with a different girls location and you would not need a compass to find the location. Maps are very usefull.

I have the cable for an emap and the Roads & Recreation CD. I just today downloaded the latest Mapsource update ver. 6.8.0 and the latest firm ware for my emap ver 2.9.0. I down loaded the GPS routes from cycoactive as a test and it worked fine. I'm expecting a new/larger data card for the emap today or tomorrow and will download the map and route data again on the new card. I'm even thinking of bringing my laptop on the ride. Could be fun.

I can show or tell you how or help you if my cable will work on your unit.

Ill forward you the route Description via email. There is one section that they don't recommend for people w/o any dirt experience, but you could probably ride it for her.

mkay, Im not too worried, she's a natural and the bike is very light. I just want to make sure she has traction. I might get some other tyres for the SM tomorrow...

I just got the email - looks like an interesting run. Ill talk to her and see what she wants to do otherwise I might just end up taking her out somewhere else.

Im assuming the yellow line is your route??

    thanks Luca!
