Best of luck with your venture! The One bike show in Portland was amazing! Looking forward to visiting your shop.

Mason's in Canby might be able to help you out. They have a welder next door that can jump in and help. 503-266-3333

I have already posted in the main thread but no reply - desperately looking for a mobile mechanic in the Seattle area that can come to my garage to help me with reseating front forks o BMW G650 XCountry - I removed the forks and for the life of it I can't fit the upper bearing back. Also any recommendations for someone I can call would be welcome - thx!

Motorbike Transport Needed: 2 Dual Sport bikes (KTM 450, XR400) from Seattle to Palm Springs, CA in early to mid April. Any non JoMamma advise appreciated. Actually, I'd likely appreciate the JM advise too but if I wanted that, I'd have headed that way to begin with. Thanks-

Anywhere in Vancouver or PDX to get a mount and balance on the cheap side that you guys recommend? I currently don't have time to wrestle tires onto my rims and would rather pay someone this time?

There is a place on Alberta that changed my tires for $20/wheel, unmounted. However, they punctured one of my tubes (I provided tubes and tires) and I had to buy one of their crappy tubes to replace the one THEY punctured.

Anyone have a recommendation for someone in the PDX/VAN area who will replace the suede cover on my seat for a reasonable price?

They have a company located inside the dealership that rents ADV bikes. Have fun in the PNW!

Doesn't sound like a glowing recommendation. Where on Alberta if you don't mind me asking? I'm a few blocks off near K-Street

701 NE Alberta. And no, its not a glowing recommendation but it will do if you are cheap and frustrated as I was at the time. I need to buy the Harbor Freight tire machine and be done with it.

Looking to get my 02' DRZ "E" model in for a checkup, and not really sure where to take it (as I just moved from Denver back in Oct). I live in Packwood, and we really have no one around here. I can change the oil, and other minor things, but want the engine looked at/jetting changed, as I am planning on doing the WABDR this summer. Suggestions?

Does it run okay? -- you think you need different jetting? How many miles? If it's running good just change the oil and check the valve clearances, and you're good to go.

It runs fine I guess. Mileage is estimated at 8K (PO think it had about 5K when I got it, I've added another 3K to it) I am not sure how to check valve clearances, and do not have a garage or any structure to work under to do so.

Anyone know of a motorcycle shop near Edmonds that services Suzuki? I'm looking to get an oil change and have my throttle position sensor cleaned. As soon as possible.

The place I'm renting at has rules about working on vehicles, so I'm looking for a shop nearby.
