Our group came up to the logs blocking the trail in this shot. I did what any chucklehead would do... jump over the logs. After going over the second one, I look to the right and find the bypass. :bluduh

By Friday my neck was hurting from being rear-ended by a dump truck Wed. AM so I planned on doing an easy ride with the Poverty Riders. Of course they started drinking at 10am. :freaky
Worked out for the best as I'm really starting to hurt. Seeing Doc at 2pm today.:kurt

I have to say Saturday was about as good as it gets for dual sport riding in FL. That was a really fun day.

It was funny watching Mark and the guy with the Yamaha try and walk his bike down that steep hill.

You think that deep sand was tough? We did the same track through there on 600 Lb bikes! Toward the last end of the day I took the "High Road" through the brush and trees next to the trail. :muutt

    DaveinSt.Augustine,

Ha, that was me with Mark helping me get that pig back down the hill. I was so close I could taste it, front wheel was inches from the top. Really enjoyed riding with you guys and hope I didn't slow you down too much.

Thx again to the CADS group for hosting such a great event, bigger then 2014 and looks to keep growing, you guys have created a monster, LOL.

Hope to see you all at the Cross Florida Rally.

Me and my lady friend (No, not Vic!) had a fun time riding around the eastern part of the state. Ol' girl makes it on the big rides. She did Perry Mountain last year on the KLR and loved it. Wasnt feeling all that well and had to stay home for LBL. Told her breath thru her nose or she'll pick up sumthing bad. Women...they dont listen to us!
Pretty sure i found hand prints in the dew on my seat and either Chicken helmet or DR Z footprints on my front fender the next morning!!! Who knows what she has now??:knary Glad i didnt passout around the cabins!!!
    She wouldnt fess up :-)

Took a few pics and a selfie. (here's a softball im tossing up....tee off :lol3)

Bill, Kaos, Caleb, Sam, Mark.....all the CADS guys. You did a great job of organizing and planning it all out. Super fun socializing with everyone and seeing some different scenery. Thanks again and hope to meet up with any and all of you more often!!

Had so much fun last weekend, we (the Hawthorne crew) are doing the Friday Belmore/Etonia loop tomorrow. Maybe change it up a bit and find some more sand. Who knew such good riding was so close!
Thanks again for letting us tag along last week
