State Trooper? They usually send someone wound pretty tight to be the resident for the Lolo area.
Yep...highway 93 just before Salmon. Why is that?
He did let us off with a warning at least.
I took this in Florance a few years ago.
On my way to teh Arctic Circle this past July I got popped in Idaho.
63 in a 50. (Only 1100 miles into an 8000 miles trip)
Wide open road with visibility for miles,.. except for where the cop was hiding.
The speed limits in Idaho are waaaaayyyyy to slow for their roads. Canada is even worse.
And you are saying the posted speed limit was 70 ... where ID or MT?
... and you got stopped for 73 ... very hard to swallow.
Oregon is horrible too. Cross the border from Idaho to Oregon and you immediately go from 75 to 65 - or 75 to 55! On the exact same highway! Wide open desert! Very frustrating. And the tickets there are extremely expensive.
North Colombia, my mates bike during a trip around Latin America
No Cop bikes involved here .... just cops while we were on our bikes.
Captured by one of the other riders in our group and then inserted into a slideshow at our year end party.
That looks serious..?
Hola, oficial. Cual es la problema?
I was soon to find out...
Wow! An SV cop bike, cool!
A standard traffic police inspector ride in UA, there are lots in use.
The accident in Beijing street attended to by 2 motorcycle policemen I witnessed the other day:
They rode locally-assembled Honda CB250s which were in fact big-bore potent musclebikes by their standards.
wow did you notice that poor woman's broken wrist?
Seriously, you can't just post that photo without at least some details.
Swollen quickly, wasn't it?
What I understood was that she'd been hit while crossing the street by a car taking its right turn, the car wouldn't stop. I was also unpleasantly surprized by the crowd's reaction - they would just stand and watch not even trying to help the old lady. They didn't call the ambulance either. Not sure whether they called the police, maybe the police were just riding past and saw the lady laying, that district was in fact quite intensively patrolled.
