    Is that the Euston motel?

Sure looks like I remember it, but that was a loooooooooooooong time ago:eek1

Awesome photo's! A few words to tell us where they were taken is always handy as I've been known to go to places that others have posted pics of on here simply because they looked so good in photo form :D

Saw that, looks like an innocent, romantic but subtle moment between two close friends. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Nice photographs BTW PBee..:clap

I might add some pics and story here PBee......

Thursday morning before Poon a group of SA guys (plus Podge and Karen from NT) met at the sleepy hamlet of Kersbrook. I must admit, it was a slow start to the day and seeing as we only had to get to Renmark we decided on a midday RV.

    Introductions for some...

Get going around 12.30 and the first thing of any note to occur was when Kiz (Marty) found he had a flat tyre on the DR about 30 mins into the ride.

We stopped for the repair and I took the opportunity to bring out the Helinox chair and table for a drink and nibbles and perhaps offer some advice on how I thought they were going with the fix. In this picture you can see the workers taking full notice of my words....Podge is on the left helping out - as he always seems to be doing...:clap

Others arrived to make sure they were doing it right.....and just ended up eating the nibbles provided by Aussieotto from the fridge in his Ural sidecar, and offering gems of advice.......:clap

Here comes the sweep.....we didn't have a fluro vest (actually I had one in my backpack) but we figured the dolly yellow and bright orange of the Urals would do....

Over the ferry and onto Nildottie for some lunch......tasty

No prizes for guessing whichway we went....:lol3

Arrived at Renmark around 5pm and after showers and beers - off to the Renmark Club for dinner overlooking the mighty Murray. Great night but I didn't get any photographs!!!!! Very unlike me...:huh

Brekky the next day at the Renmark Macca's where Berty and Graham caught up with us....then off to Wentworth and Pooncarie...

    A border incident!!

Made it into Wentworth and hit the Jackpot...

Here we are the the NSW KTM SE convention....

These two hard arses rode their DRZ's a very long way to sit on bar stools and sink a lot of beer and UDL's....committed bike riders...:clap They WERE invited but there was a story getting around about them having gate crashed or something!!! Good mates Doc and Kipo.

    Did I mention the dust??

Apparently we're on the right track....

Came across this pretty easy looking rocky creek crossing and went through on the Tiger, fell into an unsighted hole, hit a rock and then did the laugh-in drop to my left into the water. Best part ws that I got to test my Wolfman panniers and they ARE waterproof. Graham and Chris got me up and out and Podge jumped on the bike from a standing start in the water and nearly wrapped himself around a tree on the out side....quite funny really and I think my drop might have escaped the camera but Podge's near miss might be in 3D somewhere. Thanks for the help guys, I actually did hurt myself and couldn't use legs suitably.....(all good now).

    We eventually made it!!

There's advantages in bringing side cars, lady friends and trailers with fridges, food and cold beer - apparently!

Here's someone who should have bought a Helinox chair!!!

I made a comment verbally after this shot was taken but I'm not game to repeat it here for fear of being banned....that's Karen with the plate over her face...:deal

Hey Emu, give us an idea of what you think of Masterbrewer's new shoes....

I wonder what they're so interested in??

Ah, this! I used to use a stick when playing with these - maybe he's got the same idea!!

Apparently not as difficult as some found it.....:cry

Got into Renmark with 6 litres of fuel left - easy. Some food and drink and then out through Swan Reach to home.

Great few days - thanks guys.

Special thanks to Kev for bringing my sleeping gear and back-up fruit juice supplies and then for carting all my gear home so that my Tiger could act normally again...and what about those special beers he makes....well done and thanks for the extra tucker.....

I wasn't going to post the footage I have of this innocent incident (but public demand has applied pressure) stay tuned, I'll check for Podge's near miss as well
Should be able to post it tomorrow.
As this was my first ride a huge thanks goes to all who attended this and made me feel like one of the gang (opps) club (shit) ummm everyday Adv rider (not affiliated). I felt most welcome and enjoyed myself thoroughly.
A big thanks to Kev and his famous brew (not really his fault) for one of the most memorable hangovers I've had in a while cheers. :slurp:beer
