    "Congratulations you won....."

If I'm not signed in I get this pop up on my phone while viewing advrider.

This is throuugh my phone. I browse a bunch of various sites with no issue and I'm 89.9% sure it's happening now after ads have been added to this site.

This is not a complaint, more of a heads up. I did take a screen shot. Currently am not with any photo hosting sites though.

Signing in solves it, but I guess I do a lot of browsing 'offline' and the pop up/spam makes me have to close window.

It's on your end, not ours. There are no popups added to this site, the only ad is on the front page banner and it's only visible if you're not logged on.

I am having this issue also. It pops up and prevents me from signing on. The only way out is to power off my phone. iPhone 7 btw

You can disable these pop ups by disabling JavaScript in Settings/Safari/Advanced.

But some websites require JavaScript enabled to display properly.

This is likely some malware that detects something like login pages and hopes you type in to that box instead, presumably giving them the info to use. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened on other websites, especially those with logins. Either way, you want to seek advice for removing it from your computer. I'd start with MalwareBytes, though I'm a little out of the loop if there's been any recent shifts towards a new go-to.

I JUST WON A $1000 AMAZON GIFT CARD!!!!!

Except, of course, it's a scam and a pop-up I've only seen when logging in here via iPhone...other than Reuters I don't access any other site, now that I think about it, and that has no log in at all.:dunno

It shows up as a banner at the top of the page. It predated ADV allowing advertising. Probably part of the deal of allowing Tapatalk into your forum.

You referring to the GET the _____________app which shows up on many mobile sites, in this case Tapatalk.
That I have seen before, especially on an iPad; is it really a "Pop-up" ad ??

The Amazon gift card is wholly different from that.

No, I don't think it's truly a pop-up. I think the sites that allow Tapatalk allow them them to market to the users with the targeted site's help by altering the log-in screen. I'm not a tech-guy, so this is just a guess.

Yes same here. What I do have, and I think I posted this previously, is a Xenforo app at least it looks like an app icon on my phone which is how I get here I’m not really sure where it came from though I never purposefully or consciously loaded it mystery

Now that you mention it I don’t know how to take a screenshot on an iPhone. Actually I was wondering how it is people post their screenshots.

Hit the home button and power button at same time. If it works, you'll hear a camera click sound. If it doesn't, your phone turns off

Android users just swipe the screen. But I'm sure I'm overlooking how the IOS way is somehow better.
