I don't browse on my iPhone 6s, I have an iMac and a Powerbook and zero issues with either.
When you log in, click the little box that says Stay Logged in. You won't have to do it again unless you change phones.

He's hit on another handy thing to know - if you do that and hold for 10seconds, it's a hard reboot. Like if the phone froze, and won't respond to your normal requests to shut off. Press and hold Home+Power for 10 seconds and it will. Press-n-release the combo to screenshot.

They are stored as photos in your camera library as if you took a picture of your motorcycle. Screenshots would probably help, with as much context as possible. Like maybe show the tab-view, with the ADVrider page and the pop-up assuming it becomes a second tab. Is the URL on the ADV page just advrider.com when it happens?
Little late, but in case it helps anyone else, it looks like the thing in the red box below. And technically isn't a pop-up but I could see some people trying to describe it that way.

OK; how to post the screenshot? :ear

And yes, seems like almost every site I visit on an iPad has those app notices; I do not consider them pop-ups, per se, and rarely "GET" them though they do allow for faster access of the mobile version of a site.

Actually, it was necessary to GET the ebay app on my phone last night so I could quickly, and very easily, send some photos to a Seller; I still don't know where my Xenforo "app" icon came from...

I may be missing something, but I have never used an Xenforo app.

For the photo, use the "Upload Pic or GPS Track" to the right of Post Reply.

The Screen Shot will be in your photos.

I looked in the Playstore and could not find a straight-up Xenforo app.

On Chrome, AdvRider appears as a Xenforo logo.

OK I’m going to try that out
Hey thanks quite honestly never even seen that upload pick button before!
Except for the formatting of this post it worked.
You can see the Zen 40 icon, whatever it’s called, I may be mistaking that for an app but anyway it simply appeared After I first used this phone to login here.

And yes, I do need to check my email.

Does my phone have a "Frequently Visited" page??

iPad yes, haven't found it on the phone.

Apple has an Intro course I've been meaning to attend...

    I'll be only 50 in January,FFS!

(yeah, I'm the only guy at the lumberyard with my materials list on a piece of scrap wood or drywall)

Well, sunny boy, my birthday is also January.

While you are on the internet, touch the + button on the top right of your screen.
There are your bookmarks and FV buttons.

Yup, that little blue Xenforo is what my frequently visited on Chrome looks like. It's a link, not an app.

You have to tell it where to post the screen shot, it will always want to go to the top.

Just like spacing down with a mouse.

I'm here for ya. Happy bday

To save a webpage for later, get that bottom white bar/tool bar to show up on bottom of screen (touch screen or slightly scroll) while viewing whatever it is you want to save

Hit the center icon that is a box w an upward arrow.

You can then see add fav., add bookmark or add reading list, etc.

I have seminars about this stuff w my mother weekly over the phone

    It redirects to another URL

I just remembered I do have Vimeo to host stuff video. I'll put something together later. Some light music and screen grabs jk

I'm not trying to beat this topic to death. I just hate this variety of spam and i really like this site. Or else I wouldn't say anything.

I'm not aware of that being possible on iOS, to be shown on the 'desktop' like that. Though it's possible it exists as a feature I'm not familiar with.

@ozmoses Is that Xenforo icon how you're getting to the site, and thus popups? Can you tell if it's opening in the Safari web-browser? Because I'm pretty sure it's opening in a third-party app.
Interesting. Are you browsing via Safari?

It is and is in Safari as I've not yet loaded Firefox.

The only pop-up I've seen is the Amazon scam.

That icon, which I've presumed is an app, showed up after my first log in- it is also in Frequently Visited which I've located...

Pretty easy to put the icon on the home screen.

My iPhone was doing the same thing here and it was hitting me ''before I could sign in.'' I got ticked off trying so many times that I went to my computer to sign in. All is fine using my 12+ year old desktop running Linux. It only happens using my iPhone 6 which is fully updated.

I logged out of my iPhone 6 to see what would happen...I always stay logged in.

    First screen...[IMG]

    Second screen...[IMG]

    Third screen...[IMG]

Nothing on this end keeps me from logging on.

DC36AD04-E292-4735-99EF-AA9546927A5D.png Got the same pop up again just now I did take a screenshot which I’ll attempt to post. The pop-up appeared just after I had filled the username and password field and clicked the login button for what it’s worth. I was logged in momentarily but the only way to close the pop-up is to close the entire window, if that’s what it’s still named; when I called up ADV again it was necessary to begin the login process once more.

Again, of the few sites I access via this phone, ADVR is the only one to display this pop-up.
