Home sweet home I am really missing it. I am away for a year or so working in the far east. Although I am enjoying the completely different way of life here, it will be nice to get back.

Hi there! Being an expat in Belgium, (and not even having my bike with me), it's impossible to update this topic with more of my stuff... But here's a good one from Touratech through the paths less travelled.
can't properly embed it for some reason...
Belas fotos do nosso Portugal estou a viver nos USA i sabe sempre bem ver as belas paisagens do nosso cantinho .
My wife is Portuguese and has a lot of family still there. I have been twice and am going back in September. We plan to retire half time in Lisbon.
Here are a few of my photos of the beautiful country!
Maybe we can have an ADV meet in September!
You just made me home sick! And I'm a Brit that moved to Portugal seven years ago!! I have been working out of Hong Kong for the past year. I want to go back and ride my bike around Portugal
Thanks for the pics
By October I will be posting more. It really is a special place. Not very large, but so much to see!
from last summer
Serra da Estrela
not too far from Casa Nova des Milfontes (spelling??)
in the North
Anybody in the Lisbon area that can please offer me a bit of advice on routes.
As part of my tour I have a day travelling between Grandola and Tomar.
Currently I have selected a couple of options
1) Grandola - Torrao - Montemor O Novo - Montargil
2) Grandola - Lisbon - Cascias - Sintra - Mafra National Palace - Serra De Montejunto
What would any of you locals recommend? Do you feel there is somewhere that I have missed or an alternative option?
James, are you going to be stopping, or just enjoying the view as you ride?
