I really like the OE 950 toolkit, but I am missing two very important tools: 5mm allen key for the front body panels and the 10mm socket, which I discovered when I got a flat tire and needed that particular bit to remove the axle...

I haven't been able to find any of the stock toolkit tools for sale online anywhere, at least not without buying a whole new toolkit. Anyone know of a place to do that, or have and extra of that unique little 10mm socket they wouldn't mind selling? I could go the hardware store route, but in the interest of space I'd like to not have to add a ratchet to the toolkit as well. The local dealer doesn't sell the individual parts either, fwiw.

The allen key is a standard part from any tool store.

The socket is only available as a kit with the T handle and all the sockets

Interesting... The kit that came with my 2010 990 included a handy 10mm x 13mm open end wrench combo. Unfortunately the 13mm end was deformed and had the tips pressed slightly together. Classic, a 13mm wrench with an 11.5mm opening! :lol3

I just set it aside and now carry two smaller wrenches to use to adjust the chain. Apparently not many folks make the 10/13 mm combo. I'll check Munn Racing to see if they list it. It'd be good to have one to tape/attach to my Motion Pro 32mm/tire iron (the most handy tool in my kit). :nod

Somebody probably hammered on the 13mm end. Just bring it back to a nice fit with a file and you're good to go.

BTW, there were parts missing from my tool kit, and other socket sizes that I wanted to carry, so I made an adapter to go from the 5mm hex/allen to a standard 1/4" drive, just by welding together a 5mm socket and a very short 1/4" extension. The whole thing is the size of a 5mm deep socket.
