What windshield do have on the GS? I have a '94 R100GS and would like a larger w/s but haven't found one yet. Checked Cee Bailey, Parabellum & AeroFlow. :thumb

    It is a Parabellum !

    Go to www.parabellum.com
Scroll down in the LEFT window and click on Sport Shield(SS)
Then scroll down in the right window ... you will see two listed for the R100GS
The Sport and also the Touring ... the one on my bike is the touring.

It is a quick change from the stock shield, maybe five minutes or so to swap them
...as they use the same mounting points ...

Let me know if you have any other questions ... Leftee

Is it a sin to lust after someone else's bike? There are so many here that I would love to own.

Any trouble attatching those tank panniers? Been wanting to pu them on my '01 R....I know, I know, not an air head, but simular application. My biggest concern is something you haven't had to deal with - those lower oil coolers. Mostly concerned about how they actuall attatch to the bike itself. On Aerostitch's website I see rearward bungee cords, from your picture it looks like you've added some front cords too? Mostly wondering if you had to get inventive to mount them, and if so, how much......

    Thanks...... :ear
(of course, open to advice from all....gotta get me some more storage)

Beeds - saw you lurking - interesting - also - you have now set me thinking - the 80G/S - started life with a black rear guard - when, (or if), officially did it change to white - I do not think it ever did - BUT I may have spotted a difference between the G/S and the G/S Paris Dakar - (the G/S had a black rear guard - the G/S Paris Dakar has a white rear guard - as well as the other bits)

mine is 1986 Paris Dakar - (it of course should not have that side panel in Dakar guise)

Photo below - i hope - with some bits missing, (exhaust etc) - now in more bits as i will be ready to have the frame powder coated in the next couple of weeks
I will also paint my red Hawker black - use a rattle can

red seat and rack - BM Germany still have , (a few) - but be quick

    Cheers
