I think it was the bike in front of him that hit the (smallish) roo; it doesn't take much to bring a bike down

This fawn ran into me on my 1150 and I didn't go down . I still do not know where it hit on the bike , but the little bastard broke his neck .

I was at speed also . I thought I was gonna feel the pavement any minute .

Way I see it ... I got that outa the way now .

Beautiful bike, for sure. I could see Connery ride it, but not the others. Pierce on the R1200C was actually hilarious. tp dd50

'Twas me with my brother behind on his RS, filming. It was a female roo, smallish, but took the bike out from under me and did a fair bit of damage.
Bike came to a stop with a 4" tree between the mudguard and fairing!
I nearly stood up as I came to a stop from sliding!

^^^ A very elegant dismount, considering.

    Thanks Charlie!

The roo had to wait for my attention, after I watched the bike heading straight for the tree. Sadly the roo had to be euthanized.
I expected to see my beautifully sand, stone and rock blasted fairing smashed to bits under the headlight. The tree was against the forks, in between the fairing and guard. Missed the fairing but broke the gaurd. That was good to see. Lucky and unlucky, or the other way round.

I've always wondered why nobody ever asked me if I really am a kangaroo farmer. I must come across as pretty convincing. :D
Well here's the farm and here's the kangaroos, and airhead content.

Jeff, Brun and me know two blokes that have hit 'roos in the last few years. Both spent some good time in an ICU and lots more in rehab. They both survived and back to riding though, but it's those things that are timely reminders.
If ya hit 'em and you're going quick enough, you'll be lucky to walk away.

Back to the Border Run...we were heading west from Morgan to Burra and there was plenty of roadkill. Some of it was fresh and red meat bare too. I saw one car that looked like it might've hit something. No bars, but a caved in front right corner. Our eyes were peeled but the buggers just come out from nowhere. Neither of us saw any live hoppers. Fwiw, we had whistles on both bikes. If they help..then bewdy! If not, then nothing lost except $5.

Yeah, I've sort of assumed a posture similar to that of the RS riding position.
We'd just got started on the oysters iirc?

    Photo wars 'eh Charlie!

Hipsters all, but the Hoske tank was nice. He said it carries an R90S drivetrain:
    IMG_6657.JPG
Pretty. I've always thought mine would look good in grey, know I know. :D
He volunteered that I had a cool watch, but my mentioning of the Hoske or the tight clearance of the Earl's to the timing chest didn't bring a flicker.
    It was quite odd. :hmmmmm

Interesting bars, and tail light. Too bad the owner has more $$ than insight.
