3 lug hubs are not easy to come by and cheap. But I think there is a report somewhere about somebody making repros. Hopefully somebody will link here. It's recent and no idea when such may become available.

I'm thinking of $400-600USD for materials and machining... Maybe a new thread and general harassment of all those with fancy machining skills.

You using the yellow tape, not white?
I only recently learned about the yellow variety, it’s oil & petroleum resistant.
The white stuff should only only be used for air and water lines.
    A small detail, but nonetheless...

Yellow's original use was for sealing natural gas lines, but is being used for many sealing jobs today. Some of my customers use the yellow for everything plumbing... tp

With the end of my winter hiatus, I'm back to commuting to work through the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument, NM.
This is a frequent sight. The Bighorn Sheep drop down from the higher reaches to feast on the lush green grass.

I would pm Wirespokes. If that's all you need, he can tell you where the wire goes. The needle should just pull straight up to remove.

I get that. During my serious off road years, it made NO difference. Hot, cold, frozen, wet, dry, dusty, made no difference. All that mattered was seat time. Age seems to change that view just a bit. Hope it was a GREAT TIME, WET AND ALL. TP dd50

My first Beemer, circa 1977. Purchased with 127k miles on it, ridden hard and put away wet. Oil stain is from a house mates car.

^^^Great job! It looks super. Don't fret about the shiny new valve covers, they make nice, matching accent pieces. Congratulations on getting both the bike and your mind into a better place after the crash.

I love the look of the new fairing, and that seat against that tank bra, and the way that both of them go with that NOS tank. What a great looking bike!
