It's fall, it's color...perhaps a bit off from expectation:

It was still a bit green down low....but it snowed here 2 days later.

But that was all last week already.......now I slave away at work this weekend trying to relive that ride....but just maybe tomorrow's ride will be even better.
Short of a ride up to the Sierras, Here are the only 2 Trees I could find within 30 minutes of my apartments that showed colors...
A little shakey too, but that's understandable. Take care of yourself over there and THANK YOU!
Hoosier National Forest, 11/1/2008...
Hi RPM, how's it going? It's all good. Thank you back. And, I will. The shakiness is a weird auto focus problem when the light's low--or there's a ton of dust for the auto focus to hit--I'm guessing. Wierd...and it was daytime. Nice now though. No fall color like that one.
Loving these fall pix you're posting. Eatin' it up.
My beauty in Autumn:
Gotta enjoy it while it's here; the snow will be flying right quick.
The leaves are turning red, orange, yellow....the road is just turning....
Fall, summer winter or spring... it's pretty much all the same here is San Diego.
Snowy ridge near Kimberly, BC Canada. Alpine larch trees turning colour.
View from the ridge looking east to the Rockies.
Down the back side of the ridge on an old logging road.
Same logging road.

15 minutes up behind my parents' place in Cranbrook BC. Great single track!
At an old mine site near Canal Flats, BC. A cold rainy day, but still a riot!
Near where the bunkhouses used to be:
That's so cool...... Must be nice to be able to ride in country like that.
