From northeast Georgia about eleven days ago....
Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona
Grokking, that's a beautiful spot. I've only been there once and it was years ago but I remembered right away from your photo. Nice!
Everytime i head down to sedona i am blown away by how beautiful it is!
Beautiful day here in NW Georgia.
I know that road... can't remember where it is right now though...
Fouche Gap Road in Floyd County.
Looks like TN-85 going west towards Alpine, TN!
Will have to put that one on the ride list. Has to be a little safer than Fouche Gap, which is pretty much one lane. Came around a corner yesterday and there was a pack of bicycle riders taking up the entire damn road.
Awesome. I used to live in Rome and have been up there many times. Is it still wide open at the powerlines on the very top? That whole ride over to Little Texas Valley is great this time of year. I need to swing over that way next weekend... maybe get the wife to ride and we'll shoot through Berry College over to the mountain campus while we are at it.
Still wide open at the top, but a lot of logging activity going on and the deer population just keeps exploding. Had to jump on the brakes five times on Fuche Gap between Huffaker and Sand Springs Rd. I'm guessing next weekend should be pretty close to peak color. Should be great riding!!
Lunch stop at Shilo BBQ, on TN-13, yesterday. Good group to ride and be with.
That 2014 (far right) liquid-cooled Harley is impressive in a lot of ways. Looks like they have an engine that will work until the demise of the internal combustion engine.
