When the sky turns bad? This is easy...it's either looking bad/is bad or will soon turn bad here
Bedfordshire (with my 8yo daughter 'enjoying' the trails)
East Coast Scotland
I'm soaked and cold just looking at these again
You can barely see my bike next to the grey 4x4!
Storm coming over the Tetons:
And another (bigger) one on the Nebraska plains:
After two hours riding a solid downpour!
Wow, great image.
Runnning into a storm on the San Juan Skyway (CO 145) just west of Telluride.
Road was closed for a couple of hours due to mud slide, but we finally made it back to Silverton before dark.
Same trip: coming down Pike's Peak into rain.
Ran into torrential rain, hail and lightning coming across Engineer Pass from Lake City
Back safe and sound in Silverton as the storm moves on
Here's another shot. It was pretty surreal how small an area the rain was falling in. We managed to get out in front of that particular cloudburst (just barely) but the road later turned into the storm and we got hailed on in a mountain pass...
I took these a couple years ago in Florida.
This is half way up Mt. Washington last October. At the bottom it was 60 F. and clear. At the top, it was 34 degrees, 45 mph winds, and 30 feet of visibility. Fun!
