If not most impressive, at least most recent. Mountain pass 1hr from home opened yesterday so rode over today while still snow. Cold but nice
The road at the Combe Laval / Col de la Machine in southern France.
I've only done a couple ADV-worthy passes so far...
Atigun Pass, Alaska, 2007
(Photo taken from the top of the pass, looking North)
And the Moqui Dugway, Utah, 2010...
Wonderful ! This road is magic, so is your photography. Which lens/settings did you use ?
This is a 3 exposure bracketed shot from a canon s100 compact cam, the magic was added by photomatix and gimp
Ophir is a nice one! here's us at the top of it last sept.
Definitely better quality than my pic...not sure it helps one of my buddies is doing a burn out at the tunnel entrance, see smoke right in pic
Fantastic road and perfect combination going up Col de Rousset
ok I wondered how you could have a blurred background while your foreground is already far (more than 2-3 meters).
Around the corner from Natural Bridges National Monument on 95 in SE Utah:
And another vote for the Moki Dugway (3 miles of dirt switchbacks) around the corner on 261:
Blood Mountain, GA:
Col du Galibier
Very nice pix and very nice road when coming from the south, by the col de ROUSSET ( See evidence under)
Ahh the Assietta, best views in the Alps IMHO. The road is not impressive for condition or corners, but the Views are killer for all 30 km of it!
Nice picture of the Grimsel from the Furka too.
This thread makes me sad (happy for a few moments) but then sad again...
