I just about get tears in my eyes everytime I see pics of Cinnamon Pass, I want to go there so bad.
Most folks think that the highest paved road in Europe is located in the Alps. In not it's in Spain, not in the Pyrenees either. It's in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the southern Spanish province of Andalucia: Pico Veleta (3,398 m; 11,150 ft).
and sorry I don't have a pic .... anyone else ?
Is it open or not? I have heard that access is forbiden.

Yeah, it looks like all the really wild stuff is out West. I love living near the North GA mountains, but some of those pics are just awesome!
