The GS is somewhat better on these types of roads than the FJR was.

Looking back to the South:
I remember when I lived in Whitefish a Canadian rider launched off of that very spot. Not a good outcome. It is still however One of the greatest rides here in the USA. When I was a kid we would rip up that road... That was before the invasion of the motorhomes, it was great no traffic just look out for the animal of choice.
