Rider into the Storm
Is there a lot of firm dirt riding in Montana, or is it more loose dirt that requires more negotiating? I prefer the easy firm dirt than something difficult, like something that you can ride on a KLR without special tires.
Yeah, there is a bunch of it. I'm sure there is a lot of loose riding too, but most of what I rode on the Continental Divide Route was hard pack forest/fire roads.
The pavement goes to vegas. I chose straight ahead across the desert and into the mountains. Anywhere but vegas please!!
