    How are you liking the short fat knobby up front? Thinking about a similar set up next time on my SM610.

    It's totally dependent on your expectations. The wide wheel makes the front float rather than bite. I never really trust the front in the dirt. For mild offroad it's fine...but then so is a street tire.

    I'm planning on mounting up a set of true dirt wheels next season.

    I find that it tracks better in gravel and yes it tends to float compared to a 21inch front. I've had TKC80s on both ends and while it feels way better, you can almost watch the rear disappearing before your eyes. I use a MT60rs on the rear now for most of the time.

    Thanks for the info guys. Mild off road would be all it would see and only occasionally at that but the street tires are kind of rough in the sand.
