    Hey Guys,

Have any of you ever tried to powder coat your renthal handle bars? I'm trying to get my bars to match my orange crash-bars. I don't like the metallic orange ones that renthal have.

Probably a real simple job, but I would carefully mask off the bar where the clamps are as the coat is fairly thick and might cause the bars to be too fat

I have done a few sets, I tape off the grip area on the left and the throttle tube on the right with just a little powder overlap.

Talk to your powdercoater, he should have the proper sillycone tape for that. Tape you can bake....!

The exact match, that can be difficult. Go to the "Prismatic" website and look up their applicators, there may be one close to you that has the color charts. They quote 6,500 colors but no way to match with their swatches online, not enough resolution on my screen.:eek1

I'll have to trust Mr.Anonny old eyes on my match for BMW silver....we will find out soon.
