Took my breath away, thanks man
Thanks for posting a great trip!
Awesome photos and report, UTBDR is definitely on my must do list.
Nice pics. It is one of my goals to ride down there.
I had a great time staring at your rear end last week on the WRT, hope you liked mine. :huh
Wait a minute, I should word that differently.
Nice hanging with you, as always, StG!
Fantastic report and an inspiration to many.
Always smiling! And I don't care who was checking out whose rear end.
StG: This Dude can ride
If you guys ever do another last minute 1000+ mile weekend ride out this way again, let me know. I owe one of you guys for the grilled chicken
Simba, Samthg, RRR so who's birthday ride is next???
Mine is not till August and NO vacation then:eek1
But I should be in the area 3rd-4th week in June. Also, in July.
Amazing pictures! There is so much to see out west and great to see it done on a little bike.
Awesome pictures and narration. Makes me want to jump on the GS and head to UT!!
Now that's the way to live life. Great job!!
Great pics! Thx for the report and inspiration to ride more.
What airplane wreckage?
Definitely see ya then!
For sure! Will never get to see everything here in SW UT, much less the rest of the whole wide world. As for the little bike, it's my 1st bike & it sure didn't seem very little when I got it. Not sure why some seem to dis the little bikes, but I think anything on 2 wheels is fun!!!
I believe it's the remains of a t-33 crash from the 1950's. Not too far from the road. I've seen pics of the tail section, but couldn't find it. Not sure if someone took it or it's still out there somewhere? The gps coordinates are printed in one of the popular 4x4 books.
Thanks for the rr. I was out there this week. Spent three days in Moab. We did Lockhart Basin and then went into Canyonlands and did elephant hill. I don't blame you for not doing elephant hill by yourself. We made it with no problem but I was a little concerned about getting back up that hill. We did White Rim the 2nd day and the north portion of UTBDR on the 3rd day. Great place to ride.
riding in a picturesque landscape and enjoying the solitude are good for the soul.
but tom, you had a great riding life...what else do you want?
This one's for my wife - wooden shoe arch
Hey StG -- saw this before but got distracted and didn't have time to comment. Very funny!
Mrs. RRR says "hi" to Mrs. StG. Shoes -- you go girlfriend -- gotta love it!
Looking forward to seeing your new orange toy.
Awesome stuff, StG! :) I see your WRR still holds up and you still ride awesome! :) I'm planing on doing UTBDR late Aug beginning of September on WRR. Doing my yearly Iron Butt ride next Saturday. :)
PS I don't know if you remember me (one of 3 musketeers on WRR helping Reaper during last Monkey Rally :))
Great ride report. I hope to get up to Souther Utah soon.
Hey Cooligun, are you referring to the FM rally this weekend???
You should definitely visit - it's like 6-8 degrees cooler up here. Although, I may be relocating to phoenix this year, so I really hope the riding down there is even way better.
