. I'm thinking, I'm thinking.
This is a good thing
I have 3 of the original Mojave Trail books dated 1986 and 1988. I also have an order form that list a complete set of 16 books for $244.
I checked Abe Books and found a few with one #22, so there were a few more than were listed in my order form.
OK Crilly , last call, in or out??
Take my number with you, just in case. Have a good trip.
Thanks Bob, I am leaving my trailer hooked up to my van. We shall see but I always think positive, it's taken me a long way over the years
And then there were two! See you Crilly 8:30 intersection of 89 & 71. My cell is 928-710-3679.
Two WR250"s? or is Crilly bringing thye 700?
I well take the two fifty X. All ready to go. Early AM
A total of 500 cc of raw power blasting across the Mojave desert:eek1:eek1
The authorities have been alerted and have recalled two retirees on mopeds to deal with the you guys.
Bring em on We will use em for traction
Well the ride at least, went to Laughlin and back. I am in my lounge chair. Trying to relax. Boy what a deverance 40 lbs can make. Tom can explain in his ride report. Thanks alot Tom.
We cut our ride short due to some bike related issues, chain etc. On the return ride coming across from 95 on a fun trail that comes out at Parker Dam, Crilly asked me to ride his bike & see what I thought might be the handling issue with it , or was it just him. I asked how much air pressure he was running & he said 35 lbs:eek1:eek1:eek1 I don't know how he made it that far with that much pressure without killing himself:eek1 I said drop it to 20 & I guarentee better results. He was very skeptical & went to 22. We went about 20 miles & stopped for a break. He then dropped it to 15 & enjoyed the rest of the ride. Such a small thing, but huge off road. Weather & Holidays coming up will prevent doing this ride for a while, but will be doing this entire ride in April. Can have 5 riders join me. If interested committ as soon as you can, will be a Tuesday through Friday ride again as I don't like doing the Mojave Trail on a weekend, too much traffic. If you like miles & miles & miles of sand & whoops, have a 150 mile fuel range, are street legal & don't mind riding with a 72 year old then you will have fun. If not then it's not for you. Will try & set a date soon & start a new thread. Thanks again to Crilly for the company & attempting this ride.
Tom, too bad you were not able to make the entire trip with all the planning involved. Maybe the ride in the future will be more successful. I look forward to a ride report that I am sure you are working on now...........:huh
