Have you ridden mcgulivrry pass (grey track @ centre) previously? What kind of. Difficulty are we looking at?

No & unknown. It is a ride proposed by Fishnbiker. I just mapped it out and put it in a GPX format that could be used by others.

As it is an "out & back" track it will be "trial and turn around" when the going gets uncomfortable for your skill level and bike size.

If your in the area and have time check it out and report back as to what you found.

    Cheers,
    J

I will certainly do that, sounds from the land cruiser forum I found that you can actually get all the way over the pass but the road was reported to be "difficult" and the posting was from 4 years ago...

The Mcgillvary Pass trail in grey on map-shown not connecting to Anderson Lake-is correct.
I've tried many times over the last decade to come at Mcgillvary from Anderson where my cabin is, not happening. Means you won't make it through from Gold Bridge side, you will be turning around. Let me know if this is not the case, but I'm pretty certain. I expect the trail just peters out. Was a trail a long time ago, and is shown on maps (Backroads), may work in winter (doubt that too).
