Now settle down everyone. Just because Griz is heading your way does not necessarily mean there is going to be chaos, disruption and large scale damage to the environment. I will be his dedicated caretaker while he is out under supervised release, and Sherrie has authorized me to up the dosages on the various meds if needs so demand. Please do not antagonize Griz and for heaven's sake do not leave him alone in a room with The Dick. But if things go south, then I'll have a taser and bear spray.

Currently sitting in Squarebanks awaiting a new final drive bearing. Big thanks to Andrew at TMS and Alaska Airlines. Said bearing is in the saddlebag of an XR 1000 loaner bike from Justin. Drunk Uncle will do the install Monday AM. With luck I WILL be in Dawson, even if I have to commandeer a tour bus to do it. The rest of the group is heading to Haines. Should regroup in Whitewhores Tuesday PM. Wish me luck. Fite

Fite's bike is all good so far... well it almost wasn't last night but that is a different story. Had a great ride to Whitehorse with the big guy. Couple nice looking brown bears hanging out by the road was the extent of wildlife and one RCMP in Haines Junction.

To answer a question for those that know him, Norm just recently celebrated his 90th with his lovely bride hosting a big party! He enjoyed it so much he is planning on his 100th already... Life in Switzerland must really agree with them!

Fite, in Iowa watching corn grow. Rolling to northeast tomorrow to watch maple drip, then points south and Barber.
Our travels are chronicled here. Life is good on the road.
