I dont get your meaning. Waylon died in 2002, but I guess he did visit Taos. I listened to him and Buddy Holly in Lubbock TX where they hung out (Holly lived there). I lived 12 miles south of Lubbock and went to several events at the fairgrounds where even Elvis came one time. This was in 1957 while I was in high school in Slaton.

If you dont know Buddy Holly, here he is before getting killed in the plane crash. Waylon was in his band before this and got his start playing for Holly.

The video below has Waylon discussing the plane crash, which he had avoided. He gave up his seat on the plane to Big Bopper who had a cold

The Taos Inn looks like fun, but I didnt see Pint and a Half on the page. Are they warming the stage for one of the bands in the web site? Oh wait I found it, looking at the calendar wrong

There was a great article on this cool couple in January which reveals them a real jewel of music

I love Arlo and have a home in Florida just down the street from him (Sebastian FL). I saw him a couple of times but never got a chance to have lunch with him. A great guy who exhibits the real lyrics. He did ride his motorcycle some and I rode mine in Sebastian, but never got coupled with him on our bikes. Here is his home on the edge of the Indian River Lagoon. My home is about 10 blocks away and not on the lagoon.

Anybody interested in the startup of Elvis and Buddy Holly can read about my Saturday night stop shop at the Cotton Club, which was between my home in Slaton, TX and Buddy's home of Lubbock. The Cotton Club was famous and I never went in because I was juvenile on my bike or car and liquor was prominant even though the county was dry. Interesting view of the start of Elvis and connection with Buddy

I drove my great 1950 Ford with a souped up engine ( I worked with my Dad in a auto repair shop) to Lubbock or rode my little Harley (got my drivers license at age 12) and would stop and see what was going on at the Cotton Club.

Hey doc. Nothing loaded with that link on my end. I'd definitely like to read it. I saw some good Elvis footage on YouTube doing an acoustic in the round concert in the late fifties. Saw it a few years back. I'll go look for it again and post.

His return in 68; not the 50's. This is just one song. There's about a dozen more.
