Nope. That's the appropriate slide carb for the R60/5/6 and /7.

Not for the /6 and /7 I think, as I have no choke with the /5 carbs.

Yes, that slight variation, but definately not a cv as mentioned by the other fellow.

Keep those /5 carbs, I love mines simplicity and you'll not get anything but a headache out of a used set of /6 diaphram Bings. Here's my /5 for comparason. Mines a 1970 titled as a 1971.

Today I drained all the fluids - Might have fluid migrating from shaft to final drive.

Gave the engine mounting bolts some coppergrease too, for ease of removal later on.

When you change your oilfilters, do you pre-soak them in oil?

Not me. I live hard on the rugged edge of life. I don't care and they can't make me.

No. After an oil change bring the oil pressure up a bit with the kickstarter before starting it for real.

Have no kickstart, so just removing the plugs and using the starter :)

I wouldn't bother. Just leave the gas off and spin it a couple times. I used to have an oil pressure gauge, the pressure comes up fast even on a new filter---5 sec or so. If you pull the plugs you have to ground them, you can suck crap into the the cylinder, blah, blah. KISS.
