    Jamaica fires their women's bobsled coach. She owns their only sled. :lol3

    according to her, the trainer team wanted to keep her as a coach, but without contact to the athletes (which is pretty pointless). She organized the sled, skids and training materials. She now demands compensation from the association. It seems like she is willing to part with the stuff, but not for free. But that is her side, haven't found anything from the Jamaicans yet. Still, a bit of a disaster a couple of days before the race. I just can't decide who's the dickhead responsible for it.

    A third-period goal by Peter Čerešňák gave Slovakia a shock 3-2 win over the Olympic Athletes from Russia. It was a very enjoyable game with back and forth action and a the russians scoring twice in the first four minutes.

    Sundance only really screws up the dispshits who live/visit the shithole mining town of PC. At least with Sundance it is easy to fleece the visitors for Uber and lyft rides. Cleared $900/day two years ago :) The Olympics bring a whole new level of bs traffic issues to the entire greater SLC/PC area

    I thought I heard the announcer say hat Slovenia has only 36 regesterd hockey players.

    That was a huge win for the Slovenians.

    According to IIHF they have 1024 registered players, 136 of them male. Surprisingly few for a nation ranked 15th in the world.

    Thanks for the clarification
    136 is still a small amount.

    That is pretty nuts when you consider that my men's league in the hockey hotbed of Louisville, KY has close to 1000 players.

    Just wondering if there is a Tinder like app to use when picking a luge partner and who gets the top?

    Also just saw this sign in the Canadian luge crowd:

    Jesus=Heaven
    No Jesus=Hell

    I know some Canadiens say that about Tim Horton's coffee in the a.m.
