I'd like to post a ride report or two but I don't think it's allowed as they are on another motorbike forum already.

So my question is does no cross posting on forums mean if you wanted to put a ride report that you have done on here you must remove it from the other forum or edit it so it is not the same.

If by "they are on another forum already" you mean a forum other than ADVrider,
you are then free under the ADVrider rules to post your report on ADVrider.

The cross-posting rule is meant to prevent duplicate posts within the ADVrider website
itself. What you post on some other forum, for example the Horizons Unlimited
forum, or the Expedition Portal forum, has nothing to do with the cross-posting rule on
    ADVrider.

No cross posting means not posting the same content on multiple forums. It's usually ok to post a link to the content.

There is no prohibition on having the same ride report on multiple sites. Plenty of people create a ride report here that is just a link to another website (blogger etc). I'm not sure it's as effective as actually posting the context (text/pics) natively on advrider.

    Hope this helps!
