What exhaust do you have Rapid Dog? (almost typed "Rabid"... )
Do'h - never mind - just clicked thru to your build site and see that its a SuperTrapp that it looks like you welded the appropriate brackets to!
…and which one is Poncharello?
Would have been a better show had they been on PD's as opposed to Kawasakis. Even though PD's didnt come about till after the show I think.
i posted this on another thread yesterday, but i'm so happy to have another gspd (my third one) that i just had to post it again here!! even though i have a bad case of bike fever (for the last 51 years) and trade often, i have promised myself that i'm gonna keep her. i've tried all the other adventure bikes (ktm 640e, 640a, 950a, bmw r1100gs, r1150gsa, r1200gsa, r1200gs, r100gs, transalp, dr650 etc etc) and now beleive that this is the best adventure bike all around.
without further ado, here she is:
a 92 with 59k--runs great. gonna get a decal set, tkc's, take off the supertrapp & install the stock exhaust and enjoy her!!
I am hoping this wasn't the last good ride of the season.

Post on Reddit:
Here's mine. Which I sold. Yes, I am an idiot. Yes, I am going to find another one just like it.

Info on the side stand please :eek1
Here's a link across to a discussion we had on sidestands a while ago. . The difficulty with all of them is that they require a juggle if you want to use the centrestand.
The one on that bike is from Migsel (www.migsel.com) and is adjustable. Which leads me to wonder what's up with the hockey puck...
