Try them. If they don't fit then you have to get some real grips right away anyway. They will probably work.

Just in case anyone else stumbles across this thread. The grips fit well and feel comfortable.

Those Oury grips are funny looking and who would want gray grips? Seems like a lighter color would show dirt too easily.

The grips you installed are on the style of the famous "Grand Touring" grips (not manufactured anymore, so far as I know). I ride with 'em and love 'em too. Good choice.

They are a copy of the Grand Tourismo's. I have tried a lot of copies and they are no where close to the awesome grip that the originals were. I few years back I found some short real GT's but we need the long ones. Man I wish someone would make them again! Especially since the next best thing in the American made Grand Touring USA grips are no more.

I have the GT's and love 'em. I also have a set that copy them, advertised as ol' Brit bike grips, but they're for a slightly bigger handlebar as they're too loose on our 22mm bars.

I enjoyed GT grips for a couple of decades too. Funny how something as simple as decent grips created such as fan base.

After I wore the last set out I replaced them with BMW grips and found that I'm entirely happy with them. Maybe I'm just easier to please now. :D

I have a set of the original rubber GTs on my B44 and like them.

But when I recently ordered a set on Ebay for the XT600 I received a solid plastic copy which were horrible.

The identifier is raised ribs- the plastic copy have two ribs close together then a slightly larger gap to the next pair.

And a price much less than the real article.

The vendor reversed the transaction as soon as I complained, but he is still selling them as replica GT grips.

And Steve, any dirt bike shop will have grip adhesive - I think having the grips adhered is a competition requirement, although some I have seen are lock wired too !

I'm not sure if my grips are real GTs or replicas.....they're smoother and shinier than those pictured by the OP. I put them on the bike shortly after I bought it back in '86 and they still look like new.

Real GT's have the logo and Made in Italy on the donut.

Thanks for the info Billy.....I just checked them--Mine are real GTs. I see why they're so well-liked.
