Very nice how many hrs to finish the welding and grinding ? DB
A long with adding a few tabs here and there it was 12 hours.
Are you building this rig for Rawhide?
I'm following this one thread closely since I just purchased 1150gs with a DMC car.
I am building this for someone who does a lot of work for Raw Hide.
Whew, allot of work it would be interesting in inches of wire and grinding disks numbers.Your a good notcher and fitter, did you make yourself a drawing or something to work from ? Got a cold saw ? DB
I only went threw 1 grinding disc. I have a really good tubing notcher. No drawing- all out of my head. I have a large band saw for cutting.
Got all of the powder coating back. Here it is at the upholsters getting the door made and seat pads.
Sidecar wiring harness is ready to install.
One more. The door is finished.
looks great chris.
Finishing it up tonight.
Though it's not a type of design that I could get any use out of I gotta say that's one BEAUTIFUL little hack there, sir! Lots of clever details, well thought out, looks excellent to boot! Congratulations, a job very well done! No doubt you're well entitled to that happy smile of 'DONE!'.
What a great looking hack ! I'd love to put one of those on my F650GS.
12 hours? Ridiculous! It takes me 12 hours to re-arrange my tool chest.
Great job, Chris! Does this mean RawHyde is gonna let hackistas ride with them?
I fixed it for Ya.

Finished minus the spare wheel on the nose.
Chris, absolutely stunning!
